Today James Kilkelly participated in a volunteer opportunity speaking with young adults who are participants of the C5 Youth Foundation. What are they about? Read below for their mission statement:

The C5 Mission
The mission of the C5 Youth Foundations is to change the odds for high-potential youth from risk-filled environments, inspiring them to pursue personal success, and preparing them for leadership roles in college, work and their communities.

We do this through five years of intensive leadership experiences in a summer camp setting, year-round leadership development programs and community service, and preparation for continuing education and career development.

We encourage C5 youth to be…

  • Character-driven
  • Community-focused
  • Challenge-ready
  • College-bound, and
  • Committed to a better future.
